Myth & Magic is the upcoming graphic novel adaptation of the Dungeons & Dragons TTRPG Campaign I run for my friends.

In addition to being a fun fantasy adventure romp, this project is intended to present examples of positive, healthy relationships, both platonic and romantic, in which characters support each other through their struggles with trauma, mental illness, self-love, confidence overcoming biases, guilt, and shame and emphasize the importance of communication and consent in all matters.

These relationships are juxtaposed against the fantastical backdrop of the Forgotten Realms setting and the equally fantastical conflicts found therein. The narrative weaves between interpersonal relationships and the characters’ connections to the wider world to encourage honesty and empathy in one's thoughts and actions.

The comic is intended to engage in a variety of tones from lighthearted, gentle, or humorous character interactions, to dark, dramatic and/or horrific thriller scenes, to exciting and entertaining action sequences that encourage standing up to injustice.
